The luxury accommodation is the perfect place to indulge in a little romance, or to use as a base to explore some of the wonderful attractions Canterbury has to offer. Many guests choose to visit the region’s outstanding local wineries, play a round of golf on a championship course, or fish Canterbury’s famous braided rivers. So if you’re looking for a venue that can host everything on site, from a garden ceremony, to seated dining for up to 85 guests, Waipuna is the ideal location. For smaller parties and events they will arrange a more intimate, peaceful setting to delight and amaze guests, and tailor to your style and needs.

The estate has four luxurious rooms, and can accommodate up to 10 people in the villa at one time. The elegant rooms have been designed to meet guests’ wide ranging needs and make their stay as seamless as possible. Guests will enjoy a scenic helicopter ride, a private five-course dinner prepared by the Bespoke Chef, luxury accommodation, breakfast and transfer. After enjoying a fabulous 45 minute scenic flight from Christchurch, taking in the patchwork of the Canterbury plains, the majestic Southern Alps, and the region’s rivers, lakes and rugged coastline, you will land at Waipuna to start your magical romantic escape.
Aperitif and nibbles
You will be greeted with an aperitif and nibbles to enjoy as you slip into relaxation mode, before settling into your luxurious accommodation in our lavish Kowhai room. A large, private bathroom complete with double shower and a deep bath are perfect for soaking away the stresses of the day.
Five course degustation dinner with your own personal chef
